Cerberus is a mythical monster in Greek mythology. Its portrayal often shows it as a multi-headed dog guarding the gates of the underworld. According to some legends, Cancerbero possesses three heads, while in others it can have up to nine separate heads. The word "cancerbero" is also used to refer to a ferocious and unrelenting guardian.
